CD Projekt Red’s upcoming RPG action-adventure game has been in the works since 2012, and with all the amazing features that it’s said to contain, everyone is already buzzing. Recently, CDPR announced information about the gangs that players will have to face up against when the game drops later this year. Despite the excitement this news generated, many would rather the tide die down quickly – because all of these gangs have a major problem....

Fallout 3 was a huge surprise to me when I saw it showcased on X-Play during its E3 coverage back in 2008. What the heck is this game and where are the other two? I never heard of this franchise before since I’ve always been a console gamer and paid little to no mind when it came to the PC crowd. So even though I had little knowledge of the overall series I picked up Fallout 3 as a late birthday present and boy was I hooked....

Resident Evil is one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, having had numerous game releases, books, film adaptations, and more. And with Resident Evil 7 becoming the biggest sales success in the franchise’s history, Capcom is leaning into Resident Evil more than ever before, with numerous projects in the works for the popular survival-horror series. Capcom has released so much Resident Evil content lately that it’s effectively become an annual franchise, and to some fans, that could be worrying....

Dragon Age 4 is going to see some big changes coming to the franchise, including the final reveal of the Tevinter Imperium, the Dread Wolf’s attempts to destroy the fade, and hopefully, the wrapping up of the many plot threads left dangling at the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition. For players who enjoy playing as a mage in the games, however, the changes could be some of the most drastic seen in the series so far....

Looking at Destin Daniel Cretton’s filmography, he would appear to be an unlikely candidate to helm a Marvel film, especially one as pivotal as the first fresh installment of MCU Phase 4. Cretton has directed five feature films previously, all of which are real-life dramas, three being based on books, with two of those being memoirs. These seem a far cry from comics, but Cretton has a deep Marvel connection – Captain Marvel no less....

Nintendo has built a video game empire off of their exclusive franchises. Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, the list goes on and on. They’ve created games so iconic that they’ve reshaped, or even outright created entire genres. While they have an incredible pedigree when it comes to their game series, not every Nintendo original has gone on to be a huge hit financially. There are a ton of games that are beloved by fans and critics alike, but they just didn’t do enough business to continue being a priority for Miyamoto and the crew....

Borderlands 3’s release date is just two months away, but one lingering question remains: will Borderlands 3 have cross-platform play? It’s a question that developer Gearbox Software has been coy about since the game’s announcement in early April. The possibility of Borderlands 3 players across PC, PS4, and Xbox One playing together in the co-op shooter is especially appealing. GTA IV’s song license has expired, which has removed over fifty songs from the game’s radio stations. Music licensing is a funny thing. It used to be if you sold some music to a software developer for use in a game there wasn’t a time limit attached to it. People couldn’t reach out and digitally remove songs from your game since they were burned to a disc, and so songs were licensed with the understanding that so long as games are being made, those songs will be in them....

Rockstar’s support for Grand Theft Auto Online has shown no sign of stopping anytime soon, and with Halloween right around the corner, a new update seems likely. According to a Rockstar insider, that update will be unlocking the recently leaked UFO business battle for all GTA Online players. The original GTA Online UFO mission leak was discovered by skilled dataminers called The Game File Gurus, who were set off about the possibility of a mission by the odd inclusion of an older GTA UFO model....

Games Workshop has teamed up with Perchang to breathe new life into its classic board game dungeon crawler Warhammer Quest. Tabletop powerhouse Games Workshop originally released the tabletop game Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower in 2016. This was based upon the original Warhammer Quest that was discontinued in 1998. This was in turn based upon the much-loved retro-classics HeroQuest and Advanced HeroQuest. The original saw players take control of an intrepid explorer as they enter the Silver Tower in search of riches and glory....

Half-Life: Alyx is a lore driven experience, and now players can dig deeper into that lore than ever before with developer commentary. As of the most recent update, players can now find floating headsets throughout the game’s areas that will play off a developer’s commentary whenever they are equipped. In total there are over three hours of audio here spread throughout 147 different points of interest. Players will see that these clips are just over a minute on average, making them just the right length to where they can explain important information to players without dragging on for too long....
