Upon its reveal, I saw so many criticisms surrounding Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, with many labelling the upcoming remakes as lazy and unambitious due to their cutesy aesthetic and accurate recreation of the DS originals. Revealed alongside Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it was clearly intended to be the smaller project of the two, acting as a catch ‘em all appetizer for fans later this year before Arceus knocks our socks off in 2022....

A PC mod developer has released a new Grand Theft Auto V gameplay trailer for Redux Overhaul, an upcoming re-shader that will offer improvements to textures, lighting and more. Grand Theft Auto V was easily one of the most impressive games released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 generation of consoles when it first came out in 2013. Things have only gotten better since then, of course, with the game receiving graphical improvements and other tweaks upon release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC....

GreedFall Gold Edition has received age ratings in Australia, indicating that Spiders’ game might be getting a next-gen release very soon. It is yet unknown what improvements this enhanced edition will get on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Previously the developers said there would be some additional content for the RPG in the future, including a major expansion. GreedFall is the latest game from the French Spiders studio, released back in 2019 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One....

Some major shakeups seem to be happening at Halo franchise developer 343 Industries. Earlier this week, the developer in charge of Halo Wars 2’s development left the studio, and now it’s been announced that Halo 5: Guardians producer Chris Lee has been promoted to lead the development of the Halo FPS games. Halo franchise development director Frank O’Connor made the announcement yesterday on Twitter, being sure to clarify that Lee isn’t replacing the recently departed Halo Wars 2 developer Dan Ayoub....
