These past couple of weeks have been slow for fans of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Two weeks ago, there was a false start with a Magical Beasts-themed limited-time side quest, and then this past week, the game started its Christmas event instead of adding new story content. Now fans of the mobile game finally have some new story chapters to go through, with Chapters 11 and 12 added as of the latest update....

As many players were hoping after December’s surprise Adversaries event, it seems that the new event type will be popping up on a recurring basis, but surprisingly, there are actually two instances of it in February, unlike the last two months which each featured just one....

Sony reveals a new VR horror game called Here They Lie and shows off a mysterious and cryptic trailer. The game will release this fall exclusively for PlayStation VR. There was an ever present shift of focus to virtual reality games at E3 2016 today, and Sony’s PlayStation lineup was ready for it. During yesterday’s Heroes of the Storm panel, the company announced a new Arena mode for the multiplayer game, describing it as “a play experience that you can never really prepare for”....
With Death Stranding making its way to PC in the coming months alongside a ton of new features, PS4 fans are already wondering whether these new additions to the game will be exclusive. While the PCs added bonuses are mostly inconsequential, such as additional Half-Life crossover content and some new visual upgrades, the port will also include a sizable new feature that didn’t ship with the PlayStation 4 version of the game....
One of the coolest features of Hitman 2 is the Legacy Pack DLC, which adds all of the locations from the first game into the sequel as remastered levels. Players can play through the first game’s story in Hitman 2, then seamlessly jump into the second game’s story without having to change games. You’re not alone if you saw the Elden Ring trailer and immediately thought of Dark Souls, but one trademark element of the Dark Souls franchise that the FromSoftware team will alter slightly in Elden Ring is the nature of its difficulty. In interviews with IGN and Famitsu, Dark Souls and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki was asked (both directly and indirectly) about Elden Ring‘s difficulty. Not only does Miyazaki inform Famitsu that “the difficulty level as a pure action game is lower” than it was in Sekiro or Bloodborne (he actually says its closer to Dark Souls 3 in that respect), but he explains some of the ways that Elden Ring offers a different kind of experience in terms of its challenges....

Oblivion was released as a Tom Cruise vehicle in 2013, giving him his second best box office weekend up to that time outside of the Mission: Impossible franchise. However, the sci-fi pseudo-epic also received middling reviews and almost immediately dropped out of the public consciousness altogether. Which makes its reemergence into it via Netflix this month intriguing. Oblivion admittedly has its flaws, yet it is worth a second look if only because it so clearly has ambitions to be something so much more....

In Breath of the Wild, Impa is a very old woman who Link must seek out at the start of the game.
