More exciting changes look to be right around the corner for Hunt: Showdown, the horror-based PVP and PVE first-person shooter from Crytek. The developer has promised big things for Hunt: Showdown in 2021, and the start of that may be a tweet that was just posted. So far this year, the Hunt: Showdown news has been relatively tame. Earlier this year, fans were treated to some new Hunt: Showdown DLC, including the Legendary Ronin and The Trickshooter content....

Update: Valve has confirmed that the cinematic is not associated with Left 4 Dead or any ongoing project at the company. As far as unexpected leaks go, a complete cinematic video appearing to be for an unannounced Left 4 Dead 3 project ranks up there. Yet nonetheless, that’s exactly what’s happened. A two-minute long video was uploaded to a new YouTube account named Clusterflu961. The video is, for all intents and purposes, a cinematic teaser trailer for Left 4 Dead 3....

Although NetherRealm Studios released a trailer confirming Catwoman in Injustice 2 about a couple of months ago, the game developer has decided to give the sometimes hero and occasional ne’er-do-well the spotlight with a gameplay video all her own, showing off her fast and ferocious move set. At long last, we have a new Batman game to look forward to, only WB Games Montreal’s new Gotham-set open-world co-op adventure doesn’t actually feature the Dark Knight. Instead, Gotham Knights is set after the death of Bruce Wayne, which leaves the city in the hands of his surrogate crime-fighting children. Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood must now work together to take on new threats to Gotham, including a mysterious new criminal cabal known as the Court of Owls....

Ronda Rousey appears to be the latest victim in a long line of high-profile athletes who have suffered misfortune and injury following their appearance on a EA Sports title’s cover. Rousey, who has been widely touted as the kind of transcendent, generational athlete that can define an entire sports era, got knocked out last night in her title bout with underdog Holly Holm. Few games in recent years have felt as vast and filled with endless discoveries to be made than Hades. This game seems to have never-ending dialogue for each of the characters, countless ways of completing a run, and much more to discover. As a game filled with a ton of cool details, it’s very easy for some minor ones to slip by the average player. One can sink hundreds of hours into the game without hearing all of the cast’s dialogue or finding every Easter Egg....

This HALO review contains spoilers. Halo Episode 5 At last, Halo has figured out how to combine its emotional core with a bit of action. It’s a pity that core doesn’t shine a bit brighter, but hardcore Halo fans might find this episode worth it for the action alone. Feats from the games, and what looks like some polished-up animation, make the final battle a lot of fun, although some character beats still lack polish....

Last week, Disney shocked many Star Wars fans by firing Gina Carano from the popular The Mandalorian series. This firing came after a social media post from Carano’s account that was quite offensive. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Hasbro has canceled its planned action figures based on Carano’s Mandalorian character, Cara Dune. Though Hasbro has yet to officially announce the cancellation or make any comment, a spokesperson for retailer BigBadToyStore gave a statement on how they had to cancel all preorders for Cara Dune merchandise as the items were no longer being made, stating, “Hasbro planned for another production run [of Dune’s figure] and we were accepting preorders from that production run....
