The gaming community has done it again. This year’s Guardian Con charity stream, as well as other pre-stream charity endeavors, has raised $3.7 Million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Earlier today, the final block of the Guardian Con stream came to a close with Dr. Lupo, a longtime member of the Destiny community, a professional streamer for Rogue, and most importantly an avid supporter of St. Jude. Lupo’s was the top-earning block during last year’s Guardian Con stream so expectations were pretty high, and needless to say he shattered his previous record....

Microsoft will reportedly keep its word on letting gamers beta test Halo Infinite before its release. Not only will a beta test be available, but developer 343 Industries is “actively drafting plans” for multiple Halo Infinite betas throughout 2021. The sixth main entry in Xbox’s flagship franchise was infamously delayed last year, originally set to be the launch title for Microsoft’s newest console, the Xbox Series X. Fans’ lukewarm reception to Halo Infinite’s gameplay trailer and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic contributed to the delay until fall 2021, which 343 Industries says will be worth the wait....

Microsoft provides The Game Awards viewers a new trailer for Halo Wars 2, which offers gamers a glimpse into the events leading up the action in the game. The Game Awards 2016 was home to numerous game announcements and new trailers for upcoming titles. During the event, Microsoft revealed a new trailer for its Xbox exclusive Halo Wars 2, the real-time strategy game in development at 343 Industries and Creative Assembly....
