3D printing company MyMiniFactory collaborates with game developer Bethesda to create a life-sized replica of the BFG from the first-person shooter DOOM. As many fans will attest, DOOM is undoubtedly one of the top games of 2016 so far due to its meticulously detailed and nightmarish environments, its gruesome and incredibly difficult combat, and of course, its frenzied and fast-paced gunplay. Speaking of which, in order to pay homage to one of the franchise’s most renowned weapons, the BFG, DOOM publisher Bethesda recently reached out to 3D printing company MyMiniFactory to provide its team with the firearm’s in-game model so as to make a life-sized replica of it, which has resulted in the creation of a huge F’ing gun....

Obsidian Entertainment’s survival game Grounded and its shrunken world are getting an update for the Xbox Series X. Even though the game is still in Early Access, Grounded still gets updates with improvements to the content as the months go by. The developer shared some more details on the game’s optimization on the next-generation console and what effects it will have once the console launches this November. The news comes from Obsidian Entertainment’s Director of Communication, Mikey Dowling, who shed some light on the update and what it will bring to the game....

I have a lot of books by J.R.R. Tolkien, several of which are first editions. The crown jewel of my collection is a 1969 hardback first edition India paper copy (try saying that ten times without stopping) of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
