The young actor who played Jack in 2015’s Room, Jacob Tremblay, has been cast in the reboot of 1984’s Toxic Avenger. Tremblay, who has been acting since the age of 6, will be working alongside Peter Dinklage. The reboot of the 1984 film was announced in 2019, with Macon Blair as the director. Kaufman and Herz, the owner of Troma Entertainment, known for their low-budget, B-rated movies, have signed on to the project as its producers....

Grand Theft Auto Online players discover an Easter egg about Bully, Rockstar’s open-world school sandbox game which released in 2006. The discovery of the Easter egg has led some fans to wonder if the company is teasing an official announcement for Bully 2. The new GTA Online update adds the Diamond Casino & Resort as well as something called Decorations Management. Players can now get a Master Penthouse and decorate it and one of the pieces of art available to purchase is called “Canis Canem Edit”....

Niantic announces the first official Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fanfest. Just like the Pokemon GO Fest event which is held every summer, the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite event will allow players of the new mobile game to get together and talk to the developers behind the title. The first Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fanfest will take place between August 31 and September 1, 2019, says Niantic. The event will be held in Indianapolis, IN....
