GreedFall is getting a next-gen release tomorrow along with a brand new story expansion. However, if you got it for free with PS+, you won’t get the upgrade to PS5. For everybody who purchased the game, the jump from PS4 to PS5 will be without charge. If you didn’t pay, though, then you’re out of luck. That’s from the mouth of the game’s official Twitter account itself. GreedFall launched in 2019 with a decent score of 72% on Metacritic and it is currently available across the board on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, with it launching for next-gen come June 30....

Guerrilla Games has unveiled its PC-focused trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn with a release date and impressive platform-specific features. The PC port of the PS4 exclusive will be arriving on Steam and Epic Game Store on August 7th, 2020 for $49.99. While the price is steep in comparison to its PS4 counterpart, the features listed in Guerrilla’s new trailer might be worth the added csot. The game will have ultra-wide support, unlocked frame rates, dynamic foliage, graphical customization (like field of view sliders, model quality, anisotropic filter, render scale, and more), improved reflections, customizable mapping to the controller and mouse + keyboard, and benchmarking....

The Guilty Gear franchise is a series of frenetic fighting games with solid mechanics and anime-styled visuals, and the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive has fans excited. There is a fair amount of new stuff being brought into Guilty Gear Strive, but after an open beta left a few questions about online lobbies and server stability, the game is being retooled. With the extra work being put into the game, developer Arc System Works is considering another beta....

You can’t make this up. Pro-Trump supporters have allegedly been hacking into Roblox accounts over the past week or so. Messages prompting players to vote for Donald Trump this year have supposedly been added to user accounts, and MAGA hats have apparently been placed on their avatars unwillingly. Tweets have been going out from Roblox players that show screenshots of what have been added to their account. A statement is supposedly added, saying “Ask your parents to vote for Trump this year!...

Half-Life: Alyx has a simple upgrade system that allows Alyx to upgrade each of her three weapons in four different ways, provided she’s found enough resin to make the enhancements. The upgrades range from 15 resin all the way up to 40 based on how powerful the upgrade is. Resin is hidden carefully around the game’s environments, so unless you really take your time to comb every inch of the game, it’s unlikely you’ll be able to find enough resin for every upgrade....

San Diego Comic Con 2016’s Halo Wars 2 panel features a new Story Vidoc with a closer look at the strategy game’s antagonist, Atriox, and The Banished. Microsoft returned to SDCC this year with another Halo game, as they do most every year to show off the latest upcoming Halo release. This year is no different, with Halo Wars 2 taking the spotlight pending its release in early 2017. As common for SDCC panels, the event hosted several voice actors from the game as well as members of the development team....

Although Pokemon GO’s big anniversary event is stealing a lot of the spotlight this month, Harry Potter Wizards Unite has some big news of its own. It’s hard to compete with the massive virtual event that PoGO is throwing in July, but Wizards Unite is making a massive update of its own with the addition of some brand new skill trees. Although each witch and wizard already has a profession with some special benefits, the new skill trees will be available to everyone level 4 and above, regardless of their specialization....

Warner Bros. Discovery has had a rough go of it recently. The newly-formed mega corporation’s decision to callously prune HBO Max’s servers of hours of content has led to mountains of bad PR and billions of dollars in market cap losses. Red Dead Redemption 2 YouTuber Strange Man has just reached an impressive milestone for his channel, breaching 100,000 subscribers. In celebration of this, he has created an absolutely hilarious music video of both John Marston and Arthur Morgan rapping together in what can only be described as an amazing edit. Out of all the many items that can be collected in Hollow Knight, the Mothwing Cloak is one of the most essential.
