There are lots of moments I’m looking forward to revisiting in the upcoming Mass Effect remaster. Days Gone 2 being shafted is such a bummer. Sure, the original was a fairly generic open-world affair set amidst an increasingly stagnant zombie genre, but it still had heart. Halo: The Master Chief Collection begins Season 6 tomorrow, bringing new challenges, new rewards, and a new Halo 3 map called Waterfall. Season 6 was originally supposed to add two new maps to the game, however, the Edge map has since been postponed. The Waterfall map, however, should be more than enough to keep you busy. The location comes from Halo Online – a free-to-play game from Russia that was canceled long ago – and is the first new map the game has seen in over ten years....

Updates continue to release about once a month for the upcoming Halo Infinite. A more open approach for the series, Infinite shows Master Chief’s adventures on the Zeta Halo where he confronts a Banished contingent led by the vicious Brute Escharum. Of course, when it comes to a Halo game, any seasoned fan knows that the single=player campaign is only half of the story. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been a source of much discussion by both the fans and the devs since the game was announced....

Kolbe Payne is a game developer that has been working on Halo Infinite the last couple of years as a campaign level and gameplay designer. Now Payne is moving on from 343 Industries, having accepted a position at Gunfire Games as a junior level designer, working on an undisclosed project. It’s not clear exactly what game Payne will be working on at Gunfire Games. The studio has consistently put out at least one new game every year since 2015, with Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition in 2015 followed by the virtual reality game Chronos in 2016....

Fans have been holding out for a gameplay demo of Halo: Infinite since the game was first announced at E3 2018. Now, ome of that patience may finally pay off. Microsoft and 343 have confirmed that the first look at Infinite’s gameplay will be featured July 23 during the Xbox Games Showcase. The game won’t be featured in its entirety, though, as the gameplay demo will only show the campaign....
