Call of Duty: Warzone players were recently given access to Rebirth Island, and while the small-scale battle royale map has proven to be a fun addition to the game, it lacks the replayability and size held by Verdansk. However, with Verdansk being over a year old now, it is understandable that players may be a bit tired of fighting each other inside the fictional country. With the last noteworthy changes to the map arriving back in November as well, Verdansk has not felt fresh for quite some time....

On the 8th of December, ITV Hub is being replaced by ITV’s brand-new streaming service, ITVX. Yes, this might seem like the latest in a long line of rebrands that don’t appear to change anything concrete (we’re looking at you, All4, the artist formerly known as 4OD and soon to be known as… Channel 4) but ITVX will host new and exclusive programmes. Like ITV Hub currently, you’ll also be able to watch the ITV channels live on ITVX – although let’s hope the new service has ironed out the live-streaming problems that frustrated so many football fans during last year’s Euros....

About a month ago, the modders under the umbrella group name of New Home Cinema revealed the existence of the incredibly ambitious Space Mod for Rockstar Games’ open world crime title Grand Theft Auto 5. Now, the modders have officially announced that their out-of-this-world creation has gone live, with the team deciding to let gaming fans know of its availability by way of a brand new launch trailer that details its contents....

Ed Gorinstein, Game Designer for the critically acclaimed Hades, posted a detailed look at the development process behind the title’s most iconic levels. These include a look at Asphodel’s archipelago design, how the Barge of Death was developed, and how the team captured that elusive feeling of exploration. Things started getting pretty confusing for the Halo continuity with Halo 5, as much of the campaign drew from events in the expanded Halo Universe. Blue Team, Fireteam Osiris, Guardians, much of the content in Halo 5 stemmed from the many novels and comic books that detailed the expanded Forerunner lore. However, it seems Halo Infinite is planning to recompile the main story back to the game. Part soft reboot, part sequel, Halo Infinite still features pretty significant villains from spin-off media....

HandyGames is teasing some big Titan Quest news, as some official artwork from the series was recently posted on its Twitter account – along with the tagline “2021.” The team also mentioned they are “working on something Legendary,” and fans are already speculating it’s the long-awaited Titan Quest 2. There’s no indication that HandyGames is actually working on Titan Quest 2, although it’s all but guaranteed to be another game in the Titan Quest family....

During an interview with Game Informer for its May 2017 issue (number 298), a few of Horizon: Zero Dawn’s developers from Guerrilla Games discussed some potential elements that could come about in the open world action-adventure title’s sequel, with Narrative Director John Gonzalez hinting at the possibility of the original game’s protagonist Aloy starring in the immediate followup. Although the Narrative Director didn’t explicitly state as to whether or not Aloy would be the main character yet again, his statement definitely hints at her inclusion in the sequel as the lead role....

The gaming clothing brand Insert Coin has given a preview of three new Horizon Forbidden West-inspired designs, available for preorder. Insert Coin is a brand that focuses on video game-inspired looks. It has a number of styles brandishing inspiration and even direct replicas from different video games including Futaba’s jacket from Persona 5 and Ellie’s denim shirt from The Last of Us Part 2. But soon, Insert Coin will be releasing a set inspired by developer Guerrilla’s upcoming sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, including a bomber jacket, a striped shirt, and a beanie....
