Humble Bundle has reversed its unpopular decision to remove charity sliders after widespread backlash. You may recall last month that Humble Bundle rolled out some changes which saw the removal of three sliders that allowed customers to choose where their money went; the publisher, charity, or the company itself. Instead, Humble quietly implemented toggles which resulted in charitable donations being capped to just 15 percent. Understandably, fans of the service were quite upset, resulting in a backlash which has forced Humble to apologize and reverse its decision to remove the sliders....

Grounded, the new survival game from Obsidian Entertainment, will arrive in early access later this July. The Outer Worlds was a big success for Obsidian. There’s no denying that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been extremely popular. Finally, a storied franchise that was previously limited to just the Xbox consoles gets a PC release with beautifully remastered games supporting ultra-widescreen, uncapped framerates, and mouse and keyboard. What’s not to love? Well, sadly, it’s Halo 5. Apparently, 343 Industries just didn’t care to port the 2015 Halo game to PC. After confirming that Halo 4 would be getting a demo for Halo Insiders, the latest blog update also confirmed that it would be the last game to be added to the Master Chief Collection....

After being announced at EVO 2019, Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru is ready to cross swords in Soulcalibur VI. Bandai Namco made the announcement that the wild-haired samurai will enter the fray on March 31, 2020. He’ll be available in the game’s second season pass or as a standalone purchase on all platforms. Basically a match made in heaven, Haohmaru looks perfect standing across from Soulcalibur mainstay Mitsurugi. It will be interesting to see how faithful to his original series Haohmaru ends up being, though Bandai Namco has been pretty good about that....

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett have been teased by Sony and Microsoft in recent months, but there is one individual in the video game industry who isn’t enthusiastic about the upcoming console generation. Atsushi Inaba is one of the founders of PlatinumGames and is currently the head producer of the development division within the company. Inaba spoke to the Video Games Chronicle at E3 2019 and voiced his concerns with the upcoming PlayStation and Xbox systems....
