Like Debbie Isitt’s 2006 mockumentary romcom Confetti also starring Freeman and Wootton, Nativity! was largely improvised, but how did that work on set? Nativity! is the story of a primary school teacher (Freeman) who tries to put on a Hollywood-worthy nativity play with help from his young-at-heart teaching assistant (Wootton)....

Yesterday at GDC 2019, Google announced Google Stadia, its game-streaming, and game-sharing platform. While the company shared lots about its ambitious new gaming project, confirming several games and explaining how the platform works, Google was noticeably quiet about Stadia’s price. In post-launch interviews, Google hasn’t been any more forthcoming about how much Stadia will cost. The Koch presents Prime Matter showcase gave us a quick tease of Gungrave Gore. Following on from a bit of a misstep with Gungrave VR, developer Iggymob is back to bring the PS2 cult classic up to modern standards. Gungrave Gore promises “anime come to life in triple-A fashion”, which probably means flashy moves, over-the-top cutscenes, flowing hair, and, of course, lashings of the red stuff. The teaser trailer shows Beyond the Grave jump from a coffin and over the head of some bewildered gang bangers, snapping one’s neck as he vaults over them....

In a post on the Halo Waypoint blog, developer 343 Industries details Halo Infinite‘s cosmetic system following the controversial reveal of upcoming in-game promotions. “Over the last few weeks, a number of different marketing promotions have started popping up around the world with partners offering a variety of in-game customization offers for Halo Infinite,” says community manager John Junyszek. “Admittedly, product promotions weren’t how we originally envisioned sharing the first look at some of these customization elements....

How was it that Liam Neeeson went from Oskar Schindler to playing Bryan Mills in his own action thriller blockbusters from the Taken series? Well it wasn’t on purpose, as back in 2009 when he was into his late fifties, Neeson’s life got turned upside down, not by Taken’s unexpected success, but instead by the tragedy of his wife Natasha Richardson passing away after a skiing accident. Neeson said he partly dealt with that devastating episode by focusing his energy into his work, he found it helped him stay strong for his sons, so he embarked on a journey that has now produced over a dozen action films in the last 10 years....

The Overwatch PTR (Public Test Region) is a PC-only way for players to get access to content that is in in the works, but isn’t yet ready for a full release.
