Gabe Newell recently declared that the Steam Machine has the potential to take down the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but I’m not so sure PC or console gamers agree. Steam and its parent company, Valve, have been hard at work on the Steam Machines for years now. Though initially delayed, they’re finally premiering this month, with over a dozen different versions for gamers to choose from. The prices vary as wildly as the specs behind each console, ranging from on-par with the PS4’s and Xbox One’s initial price points, to far beyond it, entering the four-digit range....

Ubisoft hit the end of 2020 hard with two major releases from the developer’s most popular franchises, followed by a bit of a surprise hit with the new IP Immortals Fenyx Rising. However, as much as some fans are throwing around critiques calling the new title a Breath of the Wild clone, Ubisoft may actually have some lessons to teach Nintendo for the sequel. Fallout 76 developer Bethesda is under investigation by a DC-based law firm for refusing to refund gamer’s purchases. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Fallout 76 is a bug-filled mess. So buggy, in fact, that some gamers are reporting that they’re encountering game-ending glitches that prevent them from accessing or equipping anything in their inventories. And that’s just to start! There are plenty of other bugs, both big and small, that make playing the game seem like an uphill slog....

You might be pulling your devil trigger on this Devil May Cry 5 statue, as this adaptation of V is brimming with details from head to toe. It will be stalking your shelves during the early months of 2022. Famitsu shared the news last week that V will be the next statue in the Ultimate Premium Masterline by Prime 1 Studio. And it sure looks impressive. The stitching and the leather stylings on V’s coat are incredible, and you can see all the creases in his pants....

A little over a week ago, publisher 3D Realms teased the imminent release of its retro-shooter Ion Fury for consoles. The release date for Gravity Heroes has been revealed. Gravity Heroes is an indie shooter that was first revealed in 2019, and while small pieces of information about it have trickled out over time, the launch date has finally been confirmed. The fast-paced and chaotic 2D arena shooter will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on January 22, 2021. Publisher PQube Games (known for games like Supermarket Shriek) revealed today that its next game will be released in just a month....

The Cayo Perico Heist is the newest in a long line of heists in Grand Theft Auto Online. This new heist brings players to a Caribbean island where they can rob the drug lord, El Rubio. This update brought a new take on heists and allows players to scope out the entire island to discover secondary targets, escape points, infiltration points, and tools that will all be useful. One of the best parts of this heist is the secrets that it holds and how players can complete it with extreme ease....

The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S next-gen consoles are launching in just over two weeks, and their success heavily depends not just on their launch line-up, but also on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Xbox Game Pass’ pitch is instant access to over a hundred games for an affordable price, but even Xbox boss Phil Spencer acknowledges that there is room to improve.
