Grounded Updates Will Be Released Slower But Be More Meaningful

The Outer Worlds and Fallout creator Obsidian launched a game called Grounded last year for early access. Since its launch, it’s been consistently receiving monthly updates, but that’s soon to change. Going forward, the studio will be launching larger updates that release further apart. “We are approaching the one-year mark from the Game Preview/Early Access launch and we still have so much that we want to do for the game,” Obsidian stated, “Some of these larger features take time, and with a small team it’s difficult to release content every month while balancing larger tasks that need to get done to finish the game...

Halo Episode 9 Review Transcendence

This HALO review contains spoilers. Halo Episode 9 Having steered its Master Chief pretty far outside of the bounds of the character game fans know and love, the Halo TV series finally feels like a video game again. That doesn’t mean this episode is good. The video game adaptation curse remains in place, and it’s hard to dig beneath the surface here. A floaty finale action scene both jumped the shark (again) and underwhelmed, opening a door to a second season that…may or may not include the actual Halo ring?...

How Black Panther Gave Letitia Wright The Chance To Become One Of The Silent Twins

The Silent Twins is a new film based on the true story of June and Jennifer Gibbons, twin sisters born in 1963 to parents of Caribbean descent, and whose family lived mainly in Wales. Persecuted at school from an early age—primarily due to the color of their skin and idiosyncratic behavior—the twins gradually withdrew from the world, speaking only to each other (in a combination of sped-up English and Bajan Creole that made it difficult for others to understand), duplicating each other’s movements and behavior, and generally remaining non-communicative with others around them....

How Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Botched Split Screen

With the vast majority of other games abandoning split-screen entirely, those who enjoy the feature have appreciated Call of Duty’s commitment to it, though Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s use of split-screen is unfortunately the worst it’s been yet....

How Justice Society World War Ii Creates A Perfect Jsa For Dc Animated Movies

It seems like a universal experience with Justice Society: World War II is to come into it excited about seeing characters like Jay Garrick and Wonder Woman in action during the war, and to walk away from it stunned at how amazing Black Canary was. This isn’t just an experience for the film’s viewers: it’s one held by the movie’s creators, too. “[Black Canary was] such an example of when you’re writing something and the character is like, ‘Hello I am present!...
