Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s second map pack, Continuum, is set to release later this month and will come complete with a new zombie map set in 1970s disco New York. The new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare zombie map, dubbed Shaolin Shuffle, will feature Golden Globe-winning Jackie Brown actress Pam Grier, fighting alongside other bell-bottom-clad kung-fu heroes. The new zombie experience is touted as a “disco-zombie fright fest” by Activision, and will give players a chance to take on the undead with new kung-fu styles and abilities....

IO Interactive has posted multiple job openings as they look to get a new James Bond title off the ground. The studio, founded in 1998, is responsible for the Hitman series and they’re currently looking to launch Hitman 3, the latest installment of the reboot trilogy for which a few minutes of gameplay footage have been released. It appears they already have their eyes set on a new project. Back in November, a trailer for what will be IO’s next big game, Project 007, was teased via various platforms....

When developing Mortal Kombat 9, NetherRealm Studios did a lot of things to add extra pizzazz to their fighting game franchise. They made the story mode more narrative-driven, animations more detailed, and packed more modes into the game than fans could ever want. Amidst all the bigger changes, though, NetherRealm also added some fun intro poses for each of their fighters. So, rather than simply standing still pre-fight, each character would throw a little trash talk their opponents’ way....

Grand Theft Auto 6 is reportedly in development, although some GTA 6 reports indicate its early development. Some insiders contradict this statement, but regardless of how far the game is in development, many may just be excited to know that it is. After all, it’s not an understatement to say that Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the most popular games of recent generations, and so GTA 6 has a lot of pressure to live up to its predecessor....

The scene where Tony Lip meets Dr. Don Shirley in the mostly easygoing Green Book is telling in more ways than one. A sequence credited as “based on a real friendship,” it is the meeting between a prospective employee and employer, an Italian-American bruiser named Tony (Viggo Mortensen) and the immaculately measured Jazz musician, Don (Mahershala Ali), who lives atop a veritable castle in the sky—or at least in a luxury apartment above Carnegie Hall....

Despite not having anything to do with warring guilds anymore as its title implies, Guild Wars 2 still remains as one of the strongest MMORPG contenders these days. With a third expansion looming on the horizon, the sequel to Guild Wars is bound to get more attention and more players. After all, new content is always exciting and is a good way to reel in more people. Consequently, that sort of influx in the community is bound to bring in more newbies....

Microsoft releases the launch trailer for Halo: The Fall of Reach, the forthcoming animated series, available with Halo 5: Guardians upon its release. The upcoming story, Halo: The Fall of Reach is adapted from the 2001 Erik Nylund book, and is being created by the Canadian production studio Sequence with cooperation from developer 343 Industries. The aforementioned animated series will be featured in Halo 5: Guardians’ Limited Edition, Limited Collector’s Edition, as well as the Xbox One bundle for the game....

Year 5 Chapter 3 still has yet to be added to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, but in the meantime, Jam City has added some new content to keep fans busy while they wait. This new content includes a side quest about Hagrid’s birthday, and better yet, it seems to be available to almost every player. The limited-time side quest is called Happy Birthday, Hagrid! and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players have about three days to complete it....

The state of the Hatsune Miku franchise is in a weird place. After a stellar run of rhythm game winners, the past two or three years have been pretty rough. Project Diva X was a resounding disappointment, and this year’s MegaMix failed to offer anything compelling for series diehards. While it’s hard to top something as good as Future Tone, it’s been a shame to see this series in such a rough patch....
