Star Trek: The Video Game was not very good (read our review). What initially showed promise as the continuing adventures of the Nu-Trek crew, quickly turned out to be nothing more than a half-baked and underwhelming franchise tie-in. Even with the early guidance of the team behind the movies and extensive voice work from the cast, the project turned out to be somewhat of a mess when it hit shelves earlier this year....

One-time theatrical release Greenland, the Gerard Butler vehicle in which the star must try to save his family from a comet hurtling toward the Earth, is going to skip theaters altogether after moving out of its initial release date. Greenland is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, who teamed with Butler last year for Angel Has Fallen, and the film reportedly cost a very reasonable — for an action spectacle — $35 million to make....

As players desperately struggle to escape from the Underworld in Hades, they’ll receive the aid of various Olympian Gods in the form of boons. These boons have varied effects, and can do anything from making Zagreus invincible or earning him more gold. Though there’s already plenty of diversity in the abilities offered by the gods currently in the game, fans can’t help but want to see more. New boons could mean new potential strategies and synergies, and seeing those in action would be great....

A potential fourth season of HBO’s acclaimed crime anthology series True Detective could be arriving sooner than fans were expecting, as the premium cable network has begun meeting with writers to possibly take over the series from creator Nic Pizzolatto.
