The official position of Warner Bros. when it comes to DCEU movie continuity (inasmuch as that is even actually a thing these days) is that the beleaguered theatrical version of Justice League is the one that is official canon. The extended (and holy moley, we do mean extended) director’s cut known as Zack Snyder’s Justice League that you can watch on HBO Max is basically just a courtesy to the filmmaker and fans (not to mention a way for them to drive HBO Max subscriptions at launch)....

The follow up to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may be the most highly-anticipated video game sequel since Half-Life 3 and Metroid Prime 4, and for good reason: the first game is a masterpiece, a perfect translation of the classic Zelda formula into a modern open-world setting brimming with life and locations to explore. It’s certainly one of the best Zelda games ever made, and perhaps even the best, although I’m sure some of you will debate that in the comments....

The wide eyebrows that curve inwards when the characters smile. The villains are also the ones who wear black and other dark colors. The formula for a villain was established long ago and hasn’t changed much over the years, being used by various filmmakers and television networks....

They would make us cry, laugh, and cheer when they bring us an epic scene. If it is a Disney Princess, we hope that she will succeed in finding love or reaching her goals. Redline Animated by the legends at Madhouse, Redline is a movie that follows JP as he participates in the fastest and most intense races in the galaxy, the Redline. This racing tournament sees racers pilot their vehicles at dubious speeds, and the animators warp the visuals with stunning style to evoke the feeling of extreme velocity. A gorgeous movie with a fun story. Vinland Saga Vinland Saga follows the story of Thorfinn, son of Thors, as he gets caught up in the Danish invasion of England in 1013....

After a lengthy beta period where Arc System Works got Guilty Gear Strive’s rollback netcode to be just right, the game released on June 11 and has apparently already made bank. That’s according to a press release from the developer confirming that they’ve shipped 300,000 units as of June 14. In April of 2019, a rumor began to circulate about the possibility of a battle royale mode being included in the upcoming Halo Infinite. However, at the time, 343 Industries’ Frank O’Conner responded to these battle royale rumors by saying it was not true. A year is a long time though, and if a new listing on Microsoft’s official Japanese website is to be believed, the epic sci-fi shooter may now be getting one....

When Portkey Games was announced in 2017, fans of the Harry Potter universe were understandably excited. With a single publishing label overlooking the development of Harry Potter video games, it meant that the games stood a chance of being much better than the many lackluster movie tie-ins that have been released over the years. Game Publisher tinyBuild has announced that Hello Neighbor 2 will be launching in 2021, with an acquisition of the title from Dynamic Pixels and a plan to invest over $15 million in the franchise. As with many of the recent announcements made relating to Microsoft games, the sequel will feature Smart Delivery, meaning that purchasing the game on Xbox One will allow users to play on the Xbox Series X as well....

If you’ve found your princess or black mage and are looking to get hitched, you’ll soon be able to exchange vows with an officially-licensed $31,500 royal wedding, courtesy of Final Fantasy XIV. The service is only currently available in Japan by the wedding planning company, Bridal Hearts, and features prop weapons from Final Fantasy XIV, a tuxedo and gown replicating the in-game ceremony, and an adorable cake complete with Cactaurs, Moogles, and Chocobos....

Many fans are clearly excited for the upcoming game HeroQuest, as the game has been fully funded on Hasbro’s Kickstarter-esq site, Pulse, in less than a day. This makes it one of the fastest crowdfunding successes since a Nintendo Magazine was fully funded in less than an hour earlier this week. HeroQuest is an upcoming action/rpg board game that promises players “high adventure in a world of magic.” Players can choose between one of four playable races, and then take on monsters, demons, and the dangerous world around them....

A couple of days ago, a trailer for The Game Awards 2017 teased that legendary developer Hideo Kojima would be making an appearance at the show. Now The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has confirmed that not only will Hideo Kojima be at the event, but he will be joined by film director Guillermo del Toro, who is playing a character in Kojima’s first post-Konami game, Death Stranding. Kojima and del Toro will be at The Game Awards to present an award, though Keighley stopped short of revealing which award the pair would be presenting....

Blend John Wick and Max Payne, and you have Severed Steel, a fast-paced first-person shooter with bullet time and a fully destructible environment. It will be electrifying our senses later this year. Your main character Steel can wall run, dive, slide, and flip around the level, as she takes on goons from the villainous EdenSys corporation. The main mechanic is tied to an integral story element; she has lost one of her arms, so she can’t reload....
