343 Industries reveals the details for the next DLC pack for Halo 5: Guardians, called Ghosts of Meridian, and announces that it is arriving sometime next week. After launching in October last year, Halo 5: Guardians has been constantly evolving through free monthly updates. Fans have seen a variety of content added to the game over the past few months including the map editing Forge tool, community playlists like Grifball, and more substantial updates like the Battle of Light and Shadow which offered players free maps and new REQs to use in the popular Warzone map....

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has become a popular figure among Xbox gamers thanks to his numerous E3 appearances and for the way he managed to turn around the public’s perception of the Xbox One. Now Spencer’s hard work is being recognized by Microsoft itself, as the current Head of Xbox has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Gaming, and will report directly to CEO Satya Nadella. Summer Game Fest went live this morning, featuring an interview with game designer and director Hideo Kojima regarding Death Stranding’s port to PC. I have played around 250 hours in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and most of those happened in March and April 2020 - the first two months after the game launched. Without question, that episode featured the worst dialogue, the most clichéd plot threads, and the most thinly drawn, hackneyed characters Inside No. 9 has ever produced. Which, of course, was entirely the point. This was metadrama: four characters (six, if you count off-screen Ashley and Georgie) in search of a rubbish author. Unlike with most of Inside No. 9’s surprises, who bets the show’s creators were hoping the penny would drop sooner rather than later with this one?...
