Career killer gets stuck with a cute kid. It’s a great story premise, and one that has led to many a action movie classic, from True Grit to Terminator 2. In Gunpowder Milkshake, the Netflix neon noir from Israeli director Navot Papushado, the set-up works its magic again. Here, the career killer is professional assassin Sam (Karen Gillan), who learned the family business from single mom Scarlet (Game of Thrones‘ Lena Headey) before she abandoned Sam 15 years ago after a job gone wrong....

Ubisoft has managed to break the typical mold of marketing when it comes to the Far Cry series. Most games will sell players on the hero and their struggle against an unspecific antagonist or threat. For Far Cry, the first thing players will ever see is the main villain. He’s usually plastered on the box art with barely a hint of what the player character looks like. Here it is, the second to last level of Hitman 3. You’ve paid your dues and you’re so close to the finish line. Hitman 3 developer IO Interactive announced that they will be altering and removing some of the franchise’s modes for the upcoming third installment in the rebooted series. “When HITMAN 3 launches in January 2021, players will experience the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy,” reads a post on the IO blog. “Today, we are are happy to confirm that HITMAN 3 will feature multiple game modes, including the return of Elusive Targets, Contracts Mode, and more....

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends finally has a release date, and fans will get to experience all it has to offer a lot sooner than expected. After two decades of disagreements, an expansive agreement about the worldwide rights for legendary franchises Macross and Robotech has been signed between Tokyo-based company Bigwest and LA-based Harmony Gold. This agreement is a pretty big deal in the anime industry, as it immediately allows worldwide distribution of the hugely popular Macross films and TV sequels. This also means that Bigwest will be in full support of the Japanese release of an upcoming live-action Robotech film....

PlayStation has addressed the length of Spider-Man: Miles Morales before. Brian Horton, the game’s creative director, specifically stated that the title would be about as long as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which takes most players between 5 to 10 hours to complete. PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan then later reinforced Horton’s Miles Morales claim with his own unique statements. Despite all of this, however, Spider-Man Miles Morales’ length is once again being brought into question....
