Warner Bros. has announced the release of Injustice 2 Legendary Edition, which will feature the game’s original roster plus all its downloadable content since its launch in May 2017. The new edition of the superhero fighting game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 27. This new and improved version of Injustice 2 will feature all the DLC characters that have been introduced to the game, including Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles....

A couple of teaser clips depicting characters from NetherRealm Studios’ forthcoming fighting game Injustice 2 hint at a reveal of some kind taking place next week. With Injustice 2 fans having recently been given good news thanks to NetherRealm Studios confirming the official release date of its upcoming fighting game, it seems as if the developer is planning to unveil even more about the title relatively soon. As it happens, Injustice 2 developers have released two brief teaser clips of the game with the attached message of there being a reveal of some kind happening next week....

It didn’t take long after the PlayStation 5 was revealed that mockups of potential custom PS5 consoles made their way online. Many of these custom PS5 designs are inspired by games for the system, like the Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5, but others are much more extravagant. Russian company Caviar has released a mock-up for its extravagant solid gold PS5 console that is estimated to cost a staggering €1,500,000, or $1.8 million....

There is definitely a high supply of anthropomorphic detectives within the gaming world, from Sam & Max Save the World to Goloso Games’ pixel-graphic detective adventure Inspector Waffles. In the animal world, the titular feline is on the case and dressed to impress. Despite our favorable review of the rabbit and dog duo in Sam & Max Save the World remastered, the title doesn’t feature the lead instincts of a sharp feline....

After what feels like an eternity, the next Far Cry game has been revealed. Far Cry 6 is a massive expansion of what the series has done in the past, offering all-new elements, characters, and more. With the game releasing next spring on current-gen and next-gen consoles, the possibilities feel pretty much endless. While Far Cry 6 leaked a few days ago, fans got their first official look at the game during the Ubi Forward event, showing off a new trailer and introducing Anton Castillo, the game’s antagonist, and his son Diego....

In the grand scope of its life, I’m a Dead by Daylight newbie. The game is now celebrating its five-year anniversary, but like many of its fans, I was pulled in by one of its partnerships. Breathedge is a lot like Subnautica but set in space, according to players. And it looks like the two games share many similarities, including in the ways of a co-op mode. Subnautica became widely popular in the YouTube community when Let’s Players like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye posted their playthroughs to the video platform, and its reach has grown quite large since thanks to its unique setting and distinctive approach to survival....

Pretty quickly after rumors started emerging about Destiny 2’s second DLC, Warmind, there were a number of alleged leaks about a horde mode coming with the expansion. Those rumors haven’t gone away, and a new teaser trailer for Warmind appears to corroborate that information with a mode called Hive Escalation Protocol. Just the name alone sounds very much like a horde mode, obviously focused around Destiny 2’s Hive enemy faction. In addition, the short clips shown off in the teaser appear to show some sort of mixture of tower defense and horde mode gameplay....

Ever since the release of its first game back in 1999, Silent Hill has become an iconic horror video game franchise. It’s no secret that Silent Hill was Konami’s response to Resident Evil, but the two franchises soon became two very different games. The former is focused on supernatural psychological horror, while the latter revolves around science fiction survival horror. However, unlike Resident Evil, Silent Hill’s last game, Silent Hill Downpour, was released back in 2012, which means that it has been eight years since Konami released a new Silent Hill game....

According to Empire, the new Bond movie will take place fifty years after the events of Dr. No and — AND will have a video game accompanying it. As we all know, a good game based on a movie is about as rare as a golden gun — but Bond movie-based games are occasionally pretty good....

Grand Theft Auto 5 is the most profitable entertainment product of all time, having managed to outsell films like Star Wars and even Avengers: Endgame, and this is partially due to the extensive support that Grand Theft Auto Online has received. That’s not to say everyone is happy with the decision to focus on Grand Theft Auto Online, though, as fans have been left on the hook waiting for GTA 5 DLC for the longest time, and it seems that the latest Diamond Casino and Resort update was derived from abandoned story DLC....

Halo: Combat Evolved sparked a massively popular franchise that introduced gamers to a complex and highly detailed world that would be explored in various mediums. While Bungie focused on the canon of the video games and largely ignored the books the other company involved with Halo’s expansion, 343 Industries, made the books mandatory for understanding the story. For fans who have only ever played the games, this has introduced a number of plot holes or confusing developments that are only explored in the books....

343 Industries director Chris Lee has informed Bloomberg that he is no longer working on Halo Infinite and will instead be focusing on other opportunities at Microsoft. “I have stepped back from Infinite and I am looking at future opportunities,” Lee said. “I believe in the team and am confident they will deliver a great game and now is a good time for me to step away.” This move follows Lee’s reported decision to pivot from Halo Infinite around the time that 343 and Microsoft confirmed that the game’s release date has been delayed until 2021....

Microsoft’s latest home console, the Xbox Series X, launched to positive reception but unfortunately its flagship game, Halo Infinite, had to be delayed. Although fans were disappointed to have to wait longer to play the game that was initially meant to be the system seller, this setback does not necessarily spell doom and gloom for Halo Infinite, nor the console itself, and could very well be a blessing in disguise....

2021 won’t just be a big year for the industry as a whole, but it’s going to be a long-awaited one for Halo fans. Halo Infinite’s release isn’t until the Fall of next year, but 343 Industries studio head Bonnie Ross believes that it will be worth the wait. The anticipated sixth main release into the Halo franchise was originally due to release as an Xbox Series X / S launch title - as well as joining the Xbox One catalogue....

Speculation regarding Xbox’s acquisitions continues after Microsoft’s pickup of ZeniMax Media, which includes Bethesda, id Software, and more. The sky truly seems the limit for Xbox, but there’s one region that seems impervious to Xbox’s acquisition efforts: Japan. That hasn’t stopped fan speculation that Xbox is pursuing a Japanese studio acquisition. However, when asked directly about it, Xbox boss Phil Spencer outright rejected the possibility. Citing a report claiming that Microsoft had approached several Japanese studios regarding the possibility of an acquisition, Spencer said there wasn’t any truth to it....
